I made a terrible mistake. I listened to the clip while eating breakfast.

Senator Corker is obviously a very busy and important man. Since Supreme Court nominee Sotomayor was apparently only given ten minutes from the start. After all, if her appointment was longer than ten minutes, the good Senator would still have had time to visit with her without going on to the next appointment.

So, you really need to give him a break here. He must have supplicants lining up to seek his wisdom, counsel, and sheer raw power, on a ten minute at a time basis. Think about it, he has to heal the sick and give comfort to the suffering all day long. It must be tiring. Surely, you can forgive him for not seeing some wild eyed liberal precedent follower.

Corker had to run to an appointment to give Hannity a blowjob.

Yeah, "photo op" -- as if Sonia Sotomayor, who I've seen countless times on television with the president and with senators who actually have power, cares about having her picture taken with the blowhard junior senator from a state that has no significance on the electoral map.

The purpose of this is for the nominee to answer questions from senators who, under the checks and balances process set by the Constitution, confirm or deny her nomination to the supreme court. I guess Corker didn't have any questions for the nominee. A very responsible senator.
