Yes and lets have some reporting as well on how many people with drivers licenses have been involved in DUI related wrecks.

That would be a perfect rationale to revoke every drivers license in the state.

Or rather it would if the "logic" you're trying to push held any water.

Actually, Gilbert, it is usually reported when someone with a prior DUI conviction is involved in a serious collision.

If they are going to close the records to the curious public, fine...but it would be nice to have, in place, a procedure for obtaining records in the event of a criminal act.

You NRA defenders shouldn't get so outraged over Woods. He's just expressing his opinion. You should be outraged over the vigilante idiots because they will be the ones who doom your precious gun freedoms, not people like Woods. When law enforcement gets completely fed up with goons running around in parks acting like enforcement officers, the legislature will listen. That's one group that the Campfield's of the world will listen to. Direct your ire towards that sub-set of our population.

By Jeff Woods', um, logic (sorry, gut laughing making it hard to type), law enforcement officers should also be disarmed. Or hey, maybe they shouldn't exist at all. Yeah, out of hundreds of thousands of permit holders, one or two might commit crimes. Free societies aren't perfect. But for every ONE instance that Mr. Woods is able to desperately find concerning permit holders, I can find you 50 articles where law enforcement officials commit even more horrible crimes. Interesting how Mr. Woods will never give the full picture. He and Chief Serpas are dishonest at best and outright liars by omission at worst.

Facts are so interesting. If only less people willfully ignored them.

The fact that I'm a cowardly retard notwithstanding, you didn't post any "facts." You posted your opinions. They are different, my friend. I have no idea who is "statistically more law abiding" but I do know that we need police, even if some do really bad things. We don't need armed vigilantes roaming around in the parks. And I'm glad you are more law abiding than I am. I wasn't aware that you knew me or that I'm committing crimes that I wasn't aware of. But crimes that are committed by people without guns normally result in people not dying, outside of drunken driving accidents.

So dude, in short, you got weak arguments and need to bring more to the game than that.

I know I would rather be in Texas than some state where law abiding citizens are disarmed. I don't need to carry a gun. All that's needed is that criminals know that I might have a concealed carry permit. Makes them think twice about mugging me doesn't? Safer to try and scam me or steal something from an unguarded place.
