Barack Obama Motorcade Delays Important Journalist's Lunch

It's not enough that it's deadline day here at the Scene offices—some hotsy-totsy presidential candidate and his minions have to block the intersection of Wedgewood and 12th, delaying me from lunch. I made the best of it: Recognizing my journalistic duty, I parked at the discount tobacco place, then gawked while I shot this stunningly artful video with my Canon A80 still camera. Best we could tell, Barack was in the passenger seat of the first white SUV that passes by.

Apparently there's some sort of presidential debate going on in town. Who knew? Has anyone heard anything about this?

Does that give Bryant Crenshaw another film credit?

DG, hysterical! I'm probably one of two Pith readers (the other being Jim Ridley) who gets your joke. Is that him on the opposite corner, by the bus stop? It's hard to tell, but it sure looks like him.

No, that's a fire hydrant. I KID, I KID.
