Our Separate. Equal? story has caused racist hatemongers to crawl out of the primordial ooze long enough to post anonymous comments like this one on the story:
“It is a well substantiated fact that blacks tend to have much lower IQs than whites and Asians. Of course some blacks like Barack Obama have high IQs and high character, but far more common are blacks with low IQs and antisocial character.”
Now we’re getting hate mail too. Today’s batch included a flier calling Martin Luther King Jr. a “communist, woman-beater, plagiarist, subversive, adulterer, sexual deviant.” And there was a crude cartoon featuring a Jewish gentleman and a black baby. I won’t describe it any further.
Our pen pal also sent this note in a creepy scrawl:
“So, why is segregation wrong for America, South Africa but just fine for your comrades in Israel to segregate Jews and Palestinians? (I think we will see gay pride parades in Mecca before you answer.)Diversity=Death"
It is a well substantiated fact that these folks can kiss our antisocial, communist, sexual deviant asses.
