Reader: Why Do People Hate Sarah Palin? Pure Jealousy
They're just the same people who hated Bush
Reader Fay Forlines writes in with a little insight on the anti-Palin movement:
Is it any surprise that the people who hate Sarah Palin are the same people who hated President Bush from day ONE and threw monkey wrenches into his plans for the U. S. throughout his presidency?
Pity those people. Here are some possibilities of why they are the way they are. They are jealous:
They are eaten up from the inside out with atheism, hate, death wishes for themselves and others, destruction of civilization, jealousy, envy, underhandedness, graft, pessimism, snobbery, exclusionism, and hoodlumism. They want to play God.
Evil people hate people who are characterized by freshness, love of life, goodness, gratitude, generosity, openness, empathy, faith, hope, love and concern, innate talent and ability, knowledge without structured schooling, effectiveness in the absence of degrees and certificates, productivity, human kindness, big heartedness, magnanimousness, grace, optimism, fertility, virility, potency, and peace.
People who hate Sarah Palin, not for herself, but for what she stands for -- the positive factors which leaves the world a better place to live.

Yes you can string together adjectives with the best of them, but your little screed also betrays the fact that you have no objectivity, no real idea of what other people might believe in, and no real concept of what goverment really DOES or what the issues MEAN. Knowledge within structured schooling was the least of the concerns of dimwitted, joyless, discipline-heavy Mrs. Forehead. It was years ago, and the details have escaped my memory, but I remember really loathing that woman.

And since you're a regular on this site, you know that opinions come in far more variety than the usual Democrat-Republican thing. I think it's fair to assume that reasonable people can arrive at their own beliefs without direction from some DC suit. In fact, I was just talking to a nice Irish mother today who believes Palin is going to set women back in politics for years to come. I don't particularly agree, but I am sure this nice mother doesn't consult the official list of DNC talking points before she expresses and opinion. I'm just saying...

Many don't know anything about Ms. Palen except what the campaigns say about her. So why doesn't she do more interviews and let the citizens know what's she's like as a vice presidential candidate? It's not a name calling contest or a beauty pageant to be elected Vice President. It's a heart beat away from one of the most important positions of leadership in our world. Please ask her to step forward and let us know what she knows and thinks: not about Alaska but about her ability to be a potential world leader.

She started out articulate and confident at the convention but has let McCain kill off the inner self which must has worked well for her in the past. I agree with little she has said, but I hope she tells McCain to f*ck off and conduct herself and her interviews in her own way. I would say it was sexism but they tried to keep Quayle under wraps back in the day.
