Paul Kuharsky and Jonathan Marx Leave The Tennessean

Two talented journalists have recently left The Tennessean. Former NFL beat writer Paul Kuharsky took off last month to write for ESPN.com. There, he’ll join former colleague Chris Low, who now covers the SEC for the hugely popular sports site. Kuharsky had been with The Tennessean for over 10 years, covering the Titans after the franchise moved from Houston. A hard-working reporter who would wait around a locker room for hours to land a mere off-the-record quote, Kuharsky has already been replaced by reporter Gary Estwick.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Marx, who covered arts and culture for the daily (and served for many years as Nashville Scene's managing editor), has left to take a job as publications manager for the Nashville Symphony. You can’t find a writer in town more in touch with the artistic soul of Nashville. Whether he was writing about Dolly Parton or a local author, he always conveyed an easygoing understanding of his subject.
