Anybody But Naifeh
Here's another really hysterically funny press release from the really hysterical Bill Hobbs in which he casts all sorts of new aspersions at Jimmy Naifeh. According to Hobbs, Naifeh lied (gasp!) about having a handgun permit and then, when he did apply for a permit, he got one faster than ordinary citizens wishing to exercise their Second Amendment rights. That means that all voters should now rise up and demand that all Democratic state House candidates sign pledges never to vote for Naifeh again for speaker.
"With Democrats it will be necessary to get their pledges - in writing - that they will not vote for Jimmy Naifeh - at any time - as Speaker. It really does not matter who they vote for as long as it is not Jimmy Naifeh," handgun nutjob John Harris says in the press release.
Anybody but Naifeh! Gary Odom will probably sign that pledge.
