Things We Should Have Told You Last Week but Didn't so We're Telling You Now [Bonnaroo, Big Ears, etc.]
We were busy. Honest.
1. Bonnaroo. I know, it ended, like, last week but it's already time to talk about the next one, which they just announced will be Jun. 10-13, 2010. The presale will save you $40 on your ticket. You know what you can get with $40, right? Right? The bad news is that said ticket will still set you back $209.50, even with the early-bird discount. Presale starts Fri., Nov. 27, the day after you act all thankful for America by eating way more food than you even want to eat, just because you can.
2. Big Ears Fest announces legendary minimalist hero Terry Riley as artist-in-residence. Road Trip to Knoxville time: Mar. 26-28. Other acts will be announced in December.
3. John Rich was found not guilty of all charges filed by Jared Ashley. Was one of those charges "being a douche"? Probably not.
