Rock Over London, Rock Over Nashville, Nashville's Dead, Etc. [Newsy Bits]
I'm trying to lose five pounds today by pedaling under my desk so I can gain it back on Thursday. In the mean time, a few newsy bits for your perusal.
* Taco Bell has chosen the hapless gastrointestinal tracts of The Features, Roman Candle and Those Darlins (along with Forever the Sickest Kids and a bunch more) for their "Feed the Beat" promotion. All of the bands get "$500 in Taco Bell Bucks for free Fourthmeal, the late night meal between dinner and breakfast." That's probably just a way to mention "Fourthmeal," but it would be funny if you weren't allowed to use your fake Taco Bell money during the day. Makes choosing your collective junk food easier.
* Nashville's Dead has a new home on the interwebs. Now with more triangles! Bringing you the best in garage rock, living room rock and downstairs rock since whenever they started doing it.
* Justin Kase is on tour with Ke$ha, but Hands Off Sam will be filling in for him at Coach vs. Kase this Saturday at 12th & Porter. The show must go on. The name remains the same.
* The new school has a nice video, and rap about their dads more than I was expecting.
