Fresh Track: Roman Candle Hit the Road With Deep Vibration, Give Us a Free Tune
I've always wondered if Roman Candle named themselves after the Elliott Smith album. Probably not. I suppose it's more likely that they're named after...you know...roman candles. Either way, they're pretty cool, and they were dubbed "the Wilco of the South" by Prefix Magazine, so I guess I'm technically a little obligated to dig 'em.

RC has just kicked off a tour in support of their latest, Oh Tall Tree in the Ear, and they'll be co-headlining with The Deep Vibration. They've also sent over a track off the album that definitely has a bit of a Summerteeth vibe + some especially literate lyrics.
