When I stumbled across this blog entry entitled "Nashville knows how to be attractive," I was immediately intrigued. But when I read the opening paragraph, I thought, eureka!![]()
Jealous much?
If Los Angeles is the city of Chicago that rock and blues, when you think about Nashville is the country music to come immediately to mind. And why not? Self 'World Capital of Country Music', Nashville is the crucible in its charm a little 'home.
I can't count how many times I've said that. Or moreover, just how many times I've tried to convince people that Nashville is the crucible in its charm a little 'home. But that's not all. Read on:
Banners and posters announcing the new star and its disc as some of the honors college yearbooks, and streets bear the names of country legends like Roy Acuff and Chet Atkins. The City of Music (as fans like to call it) has caught the attention of even some non-country singers - from Joan Baez to Jello Biafra - even if their comments were not always favorable. And yet, despite being a city that has based its reputation on a sound that is a trademark, it must be admitted that Nashville knows how to be attractive.
Yeah! Face!
