Weekend Round-Up

Saddle up. It's the weekend again, which means it's time to indulge in some sweet, sweet rock 'n' roll. With the news of free cookies at Ocelots’ in-store tomorrow, I’m starting to think that might be the highlight of my weekend. Other shows of note going on include the following:
Friday 10/3
STNNNG In-Store at Grimey’s, 6:00 p.m.
The Admirals Club w/STNNNG & Wes and the Illegals at Springwater, 9:00 p.m.
Gunslinger w/Darla Farmer, Speed Square, Dewey Decibel & Bodhicitta Belly Dancers at The End, 9:00 p.m.
(Note: These shows are for the folks who failed to purchase tickets to ZZ Top, Joan Osborne or Hanson, whose shows are at The Ryman, the Belcourt and Wildhorse respectively)
Saturday 10/4
Silver Stars Talent Competition at The Ryman, 4:00 p.m. (A senior citizen talent show. Stay tuned for a Spin piece).
The Mattoid w/Monsters on Television, Moriah Harris & Outlaw Lovers at The 5 Spot, 9:00 p.m.
Junkdrawer DJs at Springwater, 9:00 p.m.
Wess Floyd and the Daisycutters w/Win Win Winter & Shame Train at The Basement, 9:00 p.m.
Sunday’s Raphael Saadiq show at Limelight has unfortunately been canceled, so you can use that day to clear some brush or go riding with a friend.
