Hot Topics: Next Big Nashville Conference Starts Today

Yes, there are a lot of bands playing NBN, but this year they've also added a conference element, featuring panel discussions and a keynote interview with Ben Folds featuring Andy Langer of Esquire.

Here are today's events:

The New New Nashville: What Do We Need?
Time: 10-11 a.m.
Location: Musicians Hall of Fame (301 6th Ave. South)

Psychology and the Art of Artist Management
Time: 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
Location: Musicians Hall of Fame (301 6th Ave. South)

Plays Well With Others: Co-Writing As An Artistic Outlet (FREE)

Time: 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Location: Country Music Hall of Fame (222 5th Ave. South)

The Nashville Curse
Time: 1:45-2:45 p.m.
Venue: Musicians Hall of Fame (301 6th Ave S)
(Feat. Bobby Bare Jr. and Matt Friction.)

Keynote Artist Interview: Ben Folds (FREE)
Time: 3-4 p.m.
Location: Country Music Hall of Fame (222 5th Ave. South)

You'll need a festival badge to get into all but the co-writing and Ben Folds events, but both of those are free and open to the public. Check out the NBN site for more info on today's conference goings-on.
