Who's up for a Road Trip?

As much as we try to keep our ear to the ground, apparently Clarksville's booming music scene somehow slipped past us.

[Framing Hanley] remind me a lot of 30 Seconds to Mars, which is a definite compliment coming from a huge fan of Jared Leto's group. Framing Hanley also does an interesting version of Lil' Wayne's "Lollipop" which can be heard on their MySpace page — I've told all my friends about that one. They actually make the song bearable.

Clarksville has everything from screamo to emocore to post hardcore. Looks like Nashvillians may soon have to travel out to Montgomery County to catch some good music.

Oh, so it's a big Americana town, then.

It seemed to me that most the good music happening in Clarksville was coming from out of town (from Nashville, for example), but i could be totally wrong about the place. i've only played there three times.
