You've got a little less than 24 hours to vote for who gets the last two Next Big Nashville slots. Polls are now closed.

Mean Tambourines got out to an early lead, but Evil Bebos have really turned on the afterburners.

As if those are actual votes.

It would be awesome if they were though!

How are they not actual votes? As far as I know, NBN tightened the reigns to make things fair. A lot of people love Evil Bebos.

there are so many ways to get around the limit. whoever gets the most votes knows the most about computers: so un-rock!

8800 votes?! -- bitch please!

I'm sure all the lads and lasses at NBN did their very best to ensure as fair a voting process as possible, despite the nearly insurmountable tehnological roadblocks involved in doing so. I'm sure NBN will be a diverse, well-attended, and superbly-performed event as always!

If those are real votes, how in the hell are they not on the bill already? And if those are real votes, what the hell are they doing playing NBN? A band with that many votes should be way past playing showcases.........and to suggest otherwise is being disingenuous.

Terry you're an idiot said:

First off, they aren't already on the bill because every band was required to submit an EPK through sonicbids and apply for NBN. They simply forgot in their haste to do so and there are huge bands on the NBN lineup like How I Became The Bomb...etc...etc. Anyone who actually gives a shit about bands and music and the music in this town should support the bands not tear them down at every chance you get. To suggest otherwise means you're a fucking asshole who doesn't know a damn thing.

Ryan, I think it's probably not a "waste of time" if going to such supposed great lengths insures a spot for NBN.

But all in all, I agree that Evil Bebos probably does have enough fans to produce that number of votes. Maybe people in this town should follow local bands' touring progress a little closer and not JUST read what's on the Cream.
