Facelift: Out the Other Gets a New Look
Local music blogger Janet Timmons gave her sight a little nip/tuck over the weekend with the help of Yewknee's Michael Eades. Check it. Timmons is also launching The Bookshelf, a sister site to Out the Other that will feature book reviews and other things reading-related. I trusted Timmons with one of my prized possessions—a copy of How to Be Alone, Jonathan Franzen's exquisite and hilarious collection of essays, that I bought while browsing the massive Strand Bookstore the summer I lived in New York City. She only gave it three stars, but the site is great anyway.
