You may or may not recognize Glen Lockett, a.k.a. SPOT, as the house producer for the seminal punk label SST records. However, if you're any kind of music fan, surely you've heard a few of the records he's recorded, mixed, and produced, including the likes of Black Flag, The Minutemen, The Misfits, Husker Du, Meat Puppets, Minor Threat and The Descendants. SPOT retired from producing some time ago to focus on his own music, some of which you can hear performed live tomorrow night at Family Wash, where he'll be joined by percussionist Albert Alphonso. Also, get there a little early and enjoy the sleepy, slow, psychedelic, bearded sounds of The Altered Statesman.

Supposably, Lambchop opens the show at 8:30. Yum.

Yeah, Lambchop is playing first. Nobody in the Altered Statesman has a beard. Have a nice day.

Did he produce Meat Puppet's Up On The Sun? That's a great record.
