Cream 2-Year Anniversary Party Lineup

Posted July 28, 2008 at 09:05:56 AM by Steve Haruch

The Nashville Cream 2-Year Anniversary party will be Saturday, Aug. 23 at Mercy Lounge. 9 p.m. We're still working out the details, but here's the important stuff: You want cheap booze? Uh-huh. You want cheap beer? That too. (We've got the special Yazoo Cream brew again this year.) You want local rock? How about:

Cortney Tidwell
The Privates
The Carter Administration
Stories That Live

covering your (or at least their) local favorites, with Curse of the Drinking Class spinning localcentric between sets. And I didn't even mention the live performance of the Most Awesome Nashville Rock Song, as voted on by you, Cream readers. Ink it in.

August is shaping to be a Carter-packed month. You won't hear me complainin'.

I guess it was too difficult to book a band or two that doesn't play in town every other day?
