Backyard at The Belcourt: Tonight at 7 p.m.

The days of Uptown Mix and Dancin' in the District are long gone, but the dream of an outdoor summer concert series didn't die with them.

Tonight, The Belcourt kicks off its own stab with Backyard at The Belcourt, which will continue every other Wednesday this summer until Sept. 3. This inaugural show gets cover-happy with two tribute bands, Who's Bad and Appetite for Destruction. That's Michael Jackson and Guns 'n' Roses tribute bands for anyone who's not on the ball today.
