Survey Says
What makes an awesome rock song awesome? This question has plagued writers from Ben Fong-Torres to Saby Reyes-Kulkarni, yet has anyone ever really hit the nail on the head with their finger on the pulse? As longtime readers know, we at Nashville Cream value objectivity, except when it gets in the way of deadline, word count or a good joke. But above all we value awesomeness, which is where you come in.
This is your invitation to participate in the first ever fully interactive, democratic, statistically accurate and 100% awesome rock experiment: The Most Awesome Nashville Rock Song. It goes like this: You fill out the survey, telling us what you think makes an awesome rock song awesome; we tally the results; a crack band of local musicians play the song you created at the Nashville Cream 2nd Anniversary Party, August 23 at Mercy Lounge. Nifty, right?
The survey ends July 18, so fill it out before then.
