Got a case of the Mondays? Not quite ready to let the spirit of the weekend die just yet? Trying to keep up the rock 'n' roll momentum until Bonnaroo on Thursday? Or maybe you don't need a corny excuse to go see some good bands on a work night. In any event, Mercy has a pretty awesome 8 off 8th lined up tonight.

Highlights include:

- Lushly layered experimental pop from Brentwood indie orchestra Kindercastle

- An increasingly rare performance from '80s modern rock enthusiasts Plex Plex

- Goodmorning Powerheart will delight fans of Interpol and British Sea Power with dark melodies and noisy guitars. These guys just moved here from Oxford, Miss., so someone bake a cake and let them know they're welcome here.

Also on the bill:
Jimmy Brown
Brother Young
Pistol
Blue Vega
WaterStreet

It all goes down tonight around 9 p.m. at Mercy Lounge. As always, it's free and 21 up.
