I re-rented the first season of Kids in the Hall last night, so imagine my joyous surprise to discover that this classic sketch comedy troupe are on tour and coming to the Ryman on May 21!

The tour is called "Live As We'll Ever Be," and features all new material, though old characters will apparently appear in new situations. Favorite characters, anyone? Bruce McCulloch's mulleted rocker comes to mind, and anything where Dave Foley delivers lines in that glorious deadpan. Thirty Helens agree that this is the most awesome news of late.

And yeah, this is a music blog, so I've included their hilarious skit "Bass Player," featuring the line, "Nobody invites the bass player to the party after the show."

Deets:

When: WEDNESDAY, MAY 21 AT 7:30PM

Where: RYMAN AUDITORIUM

Tickets on Sale: FRIDAY, MARCH 28 AT 10:00AM

Purchase online: TICKETMASTER.COM

Ticket Price: $42.00/$32.00 + USUAL FEES
